I have a tutu for my daughter and I would add satin ribbon at the bottom.

Especially if it is a narrow satin ribbon, and will not be put aside netting, "Just Do It" ... sewn on. In May, his tight loops easier to use a needle twice from both ends at once.
It may or may not need a stabilizer under the tulle.

Personally, I set the bar, while still flat tulle. Much easier than the seam, after they collected.

You should be able to provide a satin ribbon or a good haberdashery (concepts) in memory. This should not be folded with the edges already, so you only need to worry about folding the mesh along its entire length to bring, and enclose the raw edge of the mesh in the thickness of the intersection. When you buy a regular flat very picky, so for the bias tape or ribbon to go through. You should have a choice of widths and colors.
